MproV Pty Ltd provides bookkeeping, administration and MYOB consulting and training services for small to medium businesses. We are currently seeking a candidate that we can place into the office of one of our valued clients for approx 15-18 hours per week, to perform bookkeeping, payroll and specific administration duties. Our client is in the building industry providing specialised services across Adelaide, with the head office located in Mile End, SA.

MproV requires all applicants to demonstrate a basic to intermediate knowledge of bookkeeping, and to have either completed or be currently studying a minimum of Certificate III in Financial Services (Bookkeeping or Accounting). For this role, experience in general administration and human resources will also be highly regarded.

  • Demonstrate an intermediate knowledge of MYOB (including payroll), Office Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Be able to meet strict deadlines.

MproV is proud to offer a unique service, whereby the necessary business tasks are not just completed, but the processes are assessed and modified using the MproV method promoting a more systemised workflow. Therefore, the applicant must be open to learning the systems by which MproV provide assistance to their clients (training and support provided).

This is a casual position with expected days to be Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Start and finish times can be flexible to incorporate school hours if required, with the exception of Wednesdays (payroll). It is expected that the average hours will be 15-18 per week, however, the candidate may be requested to work full-time hours on occasion to cover staff leave.

Basic tasks to be performed:

General Bookkeeping including:

  • MYOB data entry
  • Reconciliation of bank, credit card and loan accounts
  • Accounts Receivable - in particular, responsible for following up outstanding accounts
  • Accounts Payable
  • Processing of weekly payroll (including PAYG withholding, Superannuation, LSL requirements, WorkCover)
  • Preparing reports as requested

General Administration Duties including:

  • Monitoring of the Quality Assurance system (training provided)
  • Administering employee award updates and queries as required
  • Providing general assistance to the Director and administration staff as requested
  • Attending to internal and external requests and enquiries as required
  • General filing assistance
