MproV Pty Ltd provides bookkeeping, administration and MYOB consulting services for small to medium businesses, across a variety of sectors including retail, service and manufacturing. We offer opportunities for our staff to work on-site with clients or off-site in our office, with our aim and business philosophy being to fit the right people into the right roles.

We are currently seeking a minimum of 2 casual employees to join our team, whose primary role will be to support our current on-site staff. This support may involve being trained to work with the files of various clients at their premises to be able to cover staff holiday or personal leave. There may also be opportunities to be placed into ongoing roles with new or existing clients, as openings arise, and at busy times of the year, additional work may be available assisting with off-site client work at our Parafield office.

At MproV we are not a temp agency, however we do occasionally need to fill temporary roles for our clients. As such, we currently have the following short and long term opportunities:

  • Administration and bookkeeping with a strong customer service focus role – temporary assignment to cover staff leave for approximately 8 weeks, with handover occurring in the week beginning 17/09/2012. Approximately 36 hours per week. Location: Croydon Park

  • Bookkeeping and payroll – temporary assignment to cover staff leave for approximately 4-6 months, starting as soon as practicable. Hours at this time have not been set but may be approximately 1 day per fortnight. Location: City.

  • Payroll – ongoing assignment, payroll processing and other associated tasks including setting up new employees, processing terminations, paying superannuation. This role requires a strong payroll background, and must have specific MYOB payroll experience. Approximately 1 day per week, with an additional day required around the middle of the month. Location: Unley.

MproV requires all applicants to demonstrate a basic knowledge of bookkeeping, and to have either completed or be currently studying Certificate III in Financial Services (Bookkeeping or Accounting).

Successful candidates will:

  • Demonstrate an intermediate knowledge of MYOB, Office Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have an enthusiastic and motivated approach to their work
  • Take pride in a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Possess outstanding planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Be able to meet strict deadlines
  • Be a team player but at the same time be able to work successfully in a more solitary role should it arise
  • Apply strict confidentiality to all work done.

MproV is proud to offer a unique service, whereby the necessary business tasks are not just completed, but the processes are assessed and modified using the MproV method promoting a more systemised workflow. Therefore, the applicant must be open to learning the systems by which MproV provide assistance to their clients (training and support provided).

Duties may include:

General Bookkeeping including:

  • MYOB data entry
  • Daily banking
  • Reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts
  • Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
  • Running MYOB reports
  • Payroll processing (including PAYG withholding/Superannuation)

Some positions may also include some General Administration tasks such as:

  • Answering phones
  • Collection/distribution of mail
  • Filing
  • Preparation of correspondence
  • Compliance work
  • Customer service
